Marriage Ministry
“Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.” - Genesis 2:24
Our Vision
At Calvary Chapel Artesia, we help and support couples develop their relationship with God, with each other, and help them be fruitful in this world for God’s glory. We see the role of the household as the primary and most important influence in the spiritual formation of a home. This journey of life that we are all on can be both rewarding and challenging. We believe that, by the grace of God, He has provided the way for us to flourish in this life of Faith. But we need the body of Christ to encourage each other and grow together while on that journey.
Overview
The Marriage Ministry is a support ministry for couples; that include couples who are engaged and married. We disciple couples in their relationship with God by providing counseling, encouragement, support, and training through fellowship with one another as we seek Christ in our lives. We believe that through the power of God’s Holy Spirit, the ministry of His redemptive story of His word and the discipleship of the body of Christ that true transformation happens. The marriage ministry is a great place to deepen your faith and explore God’s Word to make a godly impact in your home. Knowing God and making Him known in the home; your relationship will be strengthened through:
-
Marriage responsibilities to each other (Ephesians 5:22-33, Colossians 3:18-19).

Building relationships with other families (Proverbs 18:24).
-
And much more!
“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” – Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
